6th International Scientific and Practical Seminar «Document Restoration: Conservatism and Innovation»
On April 5-9, 2022, the 6th International Scientific and Practical Seminar «Document Restoration: Conservatism and Innovation» was held in Moscow in the Russian State Library. The seminar has a long history and has proved itself as a professional platform for experience exchange, professional development and presentation of innovations in the field of document heritage restoration.

This year, more than 350 people from various organizations of Russia, the CIS and European countries attended it in person and on-line. During the three working days of the seminar, there were presented 14 live reports, 6 video reports with the opportunity of viewing them through a QR code. Specialists of the largest restoration centers in Russia and the CIS conducted 14 workshops and 2 practical classes.
On behalf of the organizers, awards were presented to participants for their contribution to the development and formation of the seminar.
For the first time, there were introduced two new methods, the authors of which are specialists of the State Historical Museum and the Grabar Art Conservation Center.

Following the seminar, there were published the Proceedings of the Scientific and Practical Seminar «Document Restoration: Conservatism and Innovation — 2022».
